Drawers with Dust Panels Can Signal Quality Bedroom Furniture

Drawers on bedroom dressers and chests get used routinely. Each time a dresser drawer is opened and closed, a tiny bit of wood dust falls on cloths in the drawer below. Bedroom furniture with dust panels between each drawer are a sign of quality. Quality drawer glides have less abrasion and create less dust. Still, some low quality and some very high quality wood furniture has no metal glides at all as the drawers slide wood on wood. A little wood wax rubbed on the drawer sides helps wood drawer glides open easier, creating less friction and less dust.
