  7. Secure Small Objects (clothing, tools, books)
  8. Art
  9. Symbolic in Religion

When considering a purchase of new furniture, you might find value analyzing how many of these purposes benefits apply to you before buying. The more purposes that apply to an item, the more value you will get. It will help you compare your options in a systematic method. Some purposes will be more important than others.
