Stuffing or Dressing?

For many, the best part of the traditional Thanksgiving dinner is the stuffing. Or the dressing. Often, the only meal with this side dish is served on Thanksgiving. The terms are used interchangeably by most people. While the words refer to the same food, stuffing generally means the mixture that is put into the fowl and cooked and dressing is the filling cooked in a dish outside and separate from the bird. Happy Thanksgiving and enjoy the “best” item on the menu!
